Here are the admission requirements for MBBS in China:
Qualification: Applicants must have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC)/’A’ level or an equivalent examination.
SSC/’O’ Level: SSC/’O’ level or equivalent examination should have been passed not before 2018.
HSC/’A’ Level: HSC/’A’ level or equivalent examination should have been passed not before 2020.
- Minimum Aggregate GPA: The minimum aggregate GPA in SSC/’O’ level or equivalent and HSC/’A’ level or equivalent should be 7.00 (Seven).
- Minimum GPA: The minimum GPA either in SSC/’O’ level or equivalent and in HSC/’A’ level or equivalent should be 3.00.
- Minimum GPA in Biology: A minimum GPA of 3.50 is required in the subject of Biology.
– GPA Calculation (SSC/’O’ Level): For the calculation of GPA based on the marks obtained in SSC/’O’ level or equivalent, only the top 5 subjects are considered. GPA in ‘O’ level = (total marks obtained in the top five subjects)/5. - Optional Subject: The optional subject will be considered if the GPA is below 5 (five).
- GPA Calculation (HSC/’A’ Level): For the calculation of GPA based on the marks obtained in HSC/’A’ level or equivalent, only three subjects (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) are considered. The qualifying grade in each subject individually is “G.” GPA in ‘A’ level = (total marks obtained in three subjects)/3.
